Hair feminization is a specialized procedure that combines hair transplantation (FUE or FUSS technique) with artistic design of the frontal hairline. Unlike a conventional graft for male pattern baldness, the goal here is to change the gender pattern of the scalp.

Is it necessary to interrupt hormone therapy for the transplant?
Generally, it is not necessary to interrupt treatment with estrogens or blockers. In fact, hormone therapy usually helps maintain existing hair and improve scalp quality, making it an ally of the procedure.
When will I see the final results?
The hair cycle requires patience. You will see the first growth at 3-4 months, but the final result, with the desired density and length, is fully appreciated between 10 and 12 months post-procedure.
Does the procedure hurt?
The surgery is performed under local anesthesia, so you will not feel pain during the procedure. Many of our patients in Zaragoza take the opportunity to watch a movie or listen to music while we perform the transplant.
Can I have the graft if I already had forehead reduction surgery?
Yes, it is very common. The transplant is frequently used to populate the surgical scar area and give a much more natural and dense appearance to the new hairline.
